Drawing from his experiences of hardship growing up on the streets of New York City, Louis founded a nonprofit in Hoboken, Community Lifestyle, with no funding or network. Giving back to youth facing similar challenges, Louis’ nonprofit is committed to empowering the next generation with free sports and after‑school programs that provide safe, structured environments for children in low‑income communities.

When an individual receives a “Pay It Forward” award, they are invited to recommend a grant to a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in their community that is aligned with the values of the project. “Pay It Forward” recipients are typically awarded to one or several individuals for personal acts of courage
